There are few moments that make a person happy, what are they?
Fighting, sex, thinking about fighting and thinking about sex ;)
besides that maybe a good book, meditation, having a drink or two, and drawing/painting.
Institutions provide great learning and social atmospheres but they're not always necessary to be happy.
Can you be "too" happy?
Studies say yes. Thousands of gifted children were studied in the last century, those who tested to be the most happy, tended to live the shortest lives. The happy hormone caused stress and fatigue, reducing stability and sobriety.
What makes you happy? Obviously you can't fight and drink all the time otherwise you'd be missing all your teeth and just as many braincells. Just the same you can't fuck every one either.
don't go out and fight some one recklessly that could land you an assault charge which will be on your recooord for eevvveerrrrrr (fucking cop record systems I tell ya)
So have we concluded that being happy is bad for you?

Perhaps....not bad for you.....but to be taken in measures?
Its good to be as you said here....but at the same time, having
not enough happiness is just as the same as having to much.
Its just best to find what you like in life....and just live it a day at
a time....if things bother you, either deal with it and move on...or suffer.
As many a men once said......
" Live Life To The Pursuit Of Perfect Happiness "
....in other words, be happy, but be yourself.
Oh....and i do not believe that people that are happy live shorter lives....
My grandfather died from his 73 heart-attack back in 1999 at the age of 87.
He lived the most happiest life a man with a chubby belly could live....
